In the wonderful creative space at London’s Museum of Brands on a cold, blue sky, early January day, the team got together to look at the year ahead. It was the perfect day and place to feel inspired as we worked our way through the time tunnel of brands, the exhibits and spent time together hearing and presenting the business plan and direction for the year ahead.
The day offered the time and space to focus on the team, as well as the business, as a key strand of our people plan presentation this year is personal and collective learning and development. This year we have placed a real emphasis on everyone prioritising time to get even better at their jobs and pursue their specialisms and interests.
Personal learning and development, as well as team learning, has been ongoing. Highlights include Senior Account Managers Anna Keeley and Josh Vine-Lott entering the PRCA Young Lions competition in early March, two team lunch and learns led by our Client Services Director, Claire Murray plus a number of external training courses for individuals based on their needs and interests. This quarter sees a focus on management and line management for Account Managers up to our Senior Management Team.
We’ve had time for some fun as well. A group really enjoyed watching our Account Executive Melissa Foyle performing in the classic ‘Singin’ in the Rain’. We all gathered for a company brunch and in February, welcomed Jonathan Wilson and Tim Goddard, our Spectrum colleagues who spent some quality time with the team in the office and were introduced to a favourite local pub!
In other news…
Congratulations to Neshat Islam who was promoted to Account Executive and also to Associate Director, Joe Balfour who welcomed a new baby to his family.
And finally, we are currently looking for Senior Account Managers and Account Directors to join us. Please contact careers@auroracomms.com if you would like to hear more about these positions. We would love to hear from you.
